If you’ve always wanted to play a woodwind or brass instrument… now is your chance! You might have been inspired through our First Experiences programme in year 3, or maybe you’ve seen a brilliant band and want to have a go. This session is designed for beginners to learn to play an instrument together as an ensemble under the guidance of our four specialist tutors. No previous experience necessary and we can provide an instrument. You don’t need to be having lessons as this band is designed to get you started.

We also welcome young musicians already learning a woodwind or brass instrument – the pieces we play will have parts suitable for a range of experience levels.

We are running open rehearsals on 7^th, 14^th and 21^st October - come along to these free sessions and find out more about the instruments and try some of them out.
