Lessons in schools - schools in Flintshire support the cost of a group lesson for pupils who receive the Pupil Development Grant (PDG). Please let us know when you sign up and we can arrange this with the school.

Lessons and ensembles out of school - it is important to us that anyone can access musical opportunities and we offer a our no-questions-asked bursary scheme to support those who may not otherwise be able to afford lessons or ensemble membership.

We have two levels of bursary - one at 25% discounted rate and one at 50% discounted rate.

Ensemble Membership is £120 per year full price, £90 (25% discount), £60 (50% discount)

30 minute lessons are £648 per year full price, £486 (25% discount), £324 (50% discount)

We don’t have a formal application process for bursaries as we trust you to pay what you can afford, but we ask you to submit a short video or written statement to explain how we can support you. We would also ask that you are committed to attending your lessons or ensembles sessions.

If there is anything else stopping you from getting involved such as access issues, please e-mail music@theatrclwyd.com and we will do our very best to help.
